STREAK-FREE ROLLING STOCK DETERGENT THAT LEAVES A SHINE
Alkaline cleaner for rail and underground rolling stock. New technology has been used to create a high performance, mildly alkaline cleaner that imparts a sheen to paint and glass that both reduces spotting and helps to prevent re-soiling. It can be used both in automatic brush washes and manually. Removes traffic film, brake dust, dirt, grease and other similar soil from the body work of rail carriages and traction units.

Dilution
For light soiling, 0.5% v/v (1:200).
For normal soiling 1%v/v (1:100).
For heavy soiling 2%v/v (1:50)
Method
Automatic Brush Wash
Ensure that the dosing pump has been calibrated for dilution at the appropriate rate and that the equipment in good order. Carry out cleaning as specified by the brush wash manufacturer.
Pressure Washer
Using a low pressure, apply at the appropriate dilution. Start from the lower sections of the carriage and work up towards the roof. If necessary, agitate the surface with a soft brush to loosen tenacious soiling matter. Rinse off using a high pressure working down from the roof.
Manually
Dilute to the appropriate level. Apply the diluted product with a soft brush, start from the lower sections of the carriage and work up towards the roof. Let the solution dwell for a few minutes then agitate the surface; work systematically from the lower sections up towards the roof. Rinse off with clean water, working from the roof down towards the lower sections.
